I am often surprised when I answer the phone to discover yet another recommendation, and I am particularly delighted when the call comes from over seas.

Appreciative Memories

I remember my days as a working medium in many a church in the northern UK. All of course very new to me more than 23 years ago, but to actually get a few standing ovations just for doing what I termed God’s work, was not something I have ever witnessed happening to any other spiritual medium during my many previous years as a visiting member of various congregations. However, it happened to me more than once...a truly joyful experience.

I was a little choked with emotion to think, here I am, an ordinary lassie who came from a very humble background, having spent many years in poverty, from which I learned so many valuable lessons. Yet, these were people who enjoyed and appreciated the accuracy and depth of my work, and they showed their appreciation.

I guess that is why I have always tried to be practical, logical and precise in the way that I work. I rely totally on information given to me by spirit for the benefit of those who seek my help. As I noted earlier, I prefer NOT to ask questions, nor do I want any recipient feeding me information, as this serves only to colour one’s reading and introduce inaccuracy and uncertainty.

A Story or Two...

I have had many testimonial letters and emails from different countries including my own, over the years, all very heart-warming. On one person’s tape I did for a USA Client, I clairvoyantly viewed an event and thus predicted it in the reading, but the experience left me feeling cold. It happened on a 25th February of 1993 or 1995 (I cannot now remember which year). However, the event became headlines on British TV some weeks later. That scene is today still etched on my mind, it was later turned into a film entitled Ambush in Wako (or better known as the David Koresh story). I remember telling the lady in question that the whole of America would be deeply moved by those shocking events. I am sure they were.

As long ago as December 1986, during meditation, I saw a scene that devastated me emotionally. I had no definite idea where in America the event would occur. However, it felt like New York. I could actually see tall tower like buildings crumbling to the ground and people screaming and running in all directions. There was no timing associated with the scene. Eventually I dismissed it from my mind.

Then during the time my sister and brother in law were preparing to go on holiday in the year 2000, I told her something dreadful was going to happen in the USA. This time I felt it was in the following year ahead, I knew that the fateful day was sunny and warm. They left for their holiday in Turkey during September 2001, the minute they both heard the news their minds immediately flashed back to what I had told them. Finally it happened, and no one will ever forget that dreadful day.

During the mid 90’s my own world was being turned upside down, inside out, emotionally, and I was having trouble sleeping. Thus, I turned to God and spirit to give me the strength to get through each day, the best way I could. To gain clarity, insight, and peace for myself, sometimes I would write, and other times I would talk into a tape recorder.

It was during the month of February 1997 that I felt inspired to write. During my writing, I became aware of the presence of a young girl who I knew from my time living in the northern UK and who had died at the age of 13 from an asthmatic attack. She was expressing concern for her earthly mum and desperately wanted me to ring her mum and intervene on her behalf, because her mum was thinking of committing suicide. I was shown her mother with a bottle of whisky in one hand and tablets in the other. I was also given other information to help her mum.

It was rather late, after 1 a.m. Nevertheless, I picked up the phone and called, and yes, it was true! I spent a full hour on the phone with her before finally getting reassurance that she would not do something foolish. As far as I was aware she was a very thankful mum, who had just reached an ending point on her road of despair. That little girl proved to be her mother’s angel sent from above.

On another night I thought I would put the light out and try to get to sleep, but suddenly I became fully charged with energy. I strongly sensed that I had to pick up my pen again and write, though I was unsure of what or why!

I was shocked to get the words “news of a murder, not far from where you live. Not only did I see the number of people involved (4) but also I knew that drugs were involved. I saw the house and the area where the event would occur. The very next day I shared the news with a friend of mine. Within six weeks I learned the murders came to pass.

What was so interesting about this particular situation, was that in July of 1996, I did a reading for a local man in his fiftys. I knew he had 3 sons. Information given in the sitting for his first born came true with the year. For the other two sons, I predicted that their names would be splashed across the front page of the local newspaper and they would both end up behind bars. I was shown that both would be released. Then one would return to prison. That too came to pass, and strangely enough, they were involved in the murder and the body of one of the dead was discovered in their company.

During the early nineties, I did a few readings for a very charming lady from North Hollywood, California. She wrote me a lovely letter and said I reminded her so much of a lady known as Rosemary Altea. Naturally being in the UK I had never ever heard of her. Without more ado, my client very kindly bought me her book. I could identify with so much in Rosemary’s book, because in truth she reminded me so much of myself.

My life has been a struggle at times as I am essentially no different than you. With guidance from God and Spirit I have come to recognize that my life is richer for my lessons.
